Company Profile

Environmental Pool Systems, Inc. was founded by Robert Posch, President and Chief Engineer, in 1985 and incorporated in 1987. Bob's experience in the indoor swimming pool industry and dehumidification dates back to the early 70's, when he pioneered geothermal in the State of Michigan. The first DRY-AIR prototype which was installed in 1985 is still running today. Bob Posch has taught mechanical refrigeration, dehumidification, service and installation, air delivery systems, geothermal heating and cooling to utility companies, mechanical engineering/contracting firms and dealers/distributors throughout the Midwest.

EPS now has offices in Michigan, Florida and soon to be Chicago. We have have two integrated divisions: Consulting/Engineering and Manufacturing.

Single Source Solutions & Accountability

Our 20 years experience in the indoor swimming pool arena has shown that once the equipment is sold there is no accountability or responsibility for the final project. Environmental Pool Systems, Inc. offers single source accountability for complete design and engineering of the equipment application, with a hands-on approach to each and every commercial and residential project. Each DRY-AIR Stainless Steel Dual Evaporator System is custom built and engineered to meet the specifications of each job. Customer education, knowledge and exceptional customer service are the most important aspects of your project. Our mission is to ensure that each project is given the same “hands on” expertise and priority as if it were our own, whether it is on the east coast or the west coast. All representatives work through our in- house engineering and building consulting to ensure your project is done correctly.

Costs of preventing problems in the design stages of an indoor swimming pool are much less expensive than costs to fix the problems downstream. Our Consulting/Engineering Division is not designed to compete with mechanical, engineering or architectural firms; but only to “ride co-pilot” to help avoid the many problems that plague our industry. This division provides assistance in building design and preventive measures for natatoriums, as well as engineering guidelines for the air delivery system, mechanical requirements, electrical requirements and the completed equipment application.

We work closely with each client to ensure all requirements are met at each stage of your project. On retrofit applications, we will provide all recommendations to ensure we meet the necessary building and ASHRAE/ACCA requirements before changing out existing systems or replacing waste ventilation systems. We’re with you in every step of the process— from the right vapor barrier to the final installation, start-up of the system and future technical assistance.

Our “Hands On” expertise and customer service is #1!
